Data Revive ("we," "our," or "the App") values your trust. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use Data Revive on supported platforms, including iOS and Android.

1. Information We Collect

Data Revive is primarily an offline data recovery tool. We only collect the information necessary to deliver and improve the service:

1.1 Recovery Data You Process

• Files you select for recovery and restoration operations;
• Recovery settings, scan preferences, and output configurations you choose;
• Optional recovery logs, progress reports, or recovery history you generate.

These recovery operations are processed locally on your device by default. We do not upload your recovered files or personal data to our servers unless you explicitly choose a cloud-sync feature that is clearly described when enabled.

1.2 Device and Diagnostics Data

• Anonymous crash reports and performance logs from services such as Firebase Crashlytics help us diagnose issues and improve stability;
• Aggregated analytics from tools like Google Analytics for Firebase or App Store Connect event reports may capture session counts, feature usage, or device models. These datasets do not identify you personally.

1.3 Advertising and Third Parties

• Ad-supported experiences may use networks such as Google AdMob to show ads. These services may access your device advertising identifier, IP address, and general device information to deliver and measure ads;
• If you purchase an ad-free or premium plan, ads will be removed for the duration of your subscription;
• Third-party SDKs operate under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review their practices.

2. How We Use Information

We process information to:

• Enable essential features, such as scanning storage devices, recovering deleted files, and repairing damaged images;
• Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries;
• Analyze anonymized usage patterns to optimize recovery algorithms and user experience;
• Serve and monitor advertisements where applicable;
• Meet legal obligations and protect against misuse.

3. Data Storage and Security

• Local Data: Recovery operations and recovered files remain on your device. If you uninstall the App or reset your device, your locally stored recovery data may be deleted. You can export recovery reports manually from within the App whenever available.
• Cloud Features: If we later introduce cloud sync or backup, we will clearly describe what data is uploaded and how you can manage or delete it.
• Safeguards: We employ security practices such as encrypted transport (HTTPS) for any data transfers, system permission sandboxes, and restricted employee access to aggregated analytics.

4. Your Choices and Rights

• Manage Permissions: You can revoke storage access, notifications, or other permissions in your device settings at any time.
• Data Access & Export: Where supported, you can view and export your recovery reports and recovered files directly from the App.
• Deletion: Deleting the App removes local recovery data. For future cloud services, we will provide in-app options to delete synced data.
• Personalized Ads: You can reset advertising IDs or limit ad tracking via system settings (e.g., iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising; Android Settings → Privacy → Ads).

5. Children's Privacy

Data Revive is intended for individuals aged 13 and older, or the minimum age permitted in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us so we can remove it promptly.

6. International Use

If you access Data Revive from regions with different data protection laws, you consent to the processing of information in the jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate. We strive to comply with applicable regulations, but local legal requirements may vary.

7. Policy Updates

We may revise this Privacy Policy to reflect product changes or legal requirements. We will notify you in-app or by other reasonable means if we make material updates. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
